The object of investigation is introductive rarity type of wood vegetation, ginkgo biloba. The aim of investigation was the studying of the reproduction peculiarities, growing and ways of using the planting material ginkgo biloba of seed and vegetative origin in the conditions of Ukraine. The methods of investigation are reconnaissance, forest-valuation, forest-cultural, dendrochronological, biochemical, culture of materials, vegetative reproduction, mathematically statistical. Scientific work. As a result of the completion of the dissertation investigations it is firstly by us in Ukraine: displayed the reproductive potential of the type in the conditions of country, which allows annually; to store up the considerable amount of seed and grow from it hundreds of thousands pieces of planting material; set up the dendrochronological peculiarities of its growth (in the seed years, the growth of male copies is characterized by the lift of the growth by diameter, and female by decline); studied the sowing qualities, which have the high level of cleanness(94,4-97,9%), great variety of soil similarity (2,0-67,0%) and sowing usefulness( 1,9-65,0%), durable term of germination of seed(from 2-3weeks to 12-18 months), ways of preparation for sowing and biochemical indices of seed; developed the technology of mass reproduction by ginkto seed way, the essence of which lies in growing of 1-3year seedlings of ginkto in the conditions of closed soil, with their following growing in the conditions of opened soil; used for the reproduction of plants of the type the method of crop material , which is the most effective from the biological point of view; deepened: the experience of reproduction of wood type by vegetative way, by grafting; supplemented: register of the ginkgo biloba trees that grow in the region , with the definitions of their forest valuation indices; displayed and established: new centres of seed trees availability of self-sown seed and cases of vegetative reproduction of ginkto; the age of the oldest trees in Ukraine. The results of the work are methodically practical recommendations due to stocking up of the seed raw stuff and growing of planting material ginkto twobladed. The technological maps of growing the planting material of relict are developed. The research-industrial plantation of ginkgo bilobad for the needs of pharmacological branch of Ukraine and the plot of grafted crops for the future cloned seed plantation are laid down.
