Essay

The study is based on the results of examination and treatment of 211 patients (124 men and 87 women) with closed injuries of the fibula and ankle. Clinical application of a new method of metal osteosynthesis using the proposed release yielded excellent and satisfactory long-term results of surgical treatment in 35 (92.11%) patients compared with traditional methods of 49 (85.95%).
