Lyzanets O. Border cooperation of the region in the context of transformation processes (on the materials of Transcarpathian region).

The dissertation thesis deals with theoretical substantiation of the basis concerning the formation, establishment and development of border cooperation in the context of transformation processes. The essence of the concept of border collaboration has been studied, its role and place in the economic and social development of the region being determined. The analysis of international relations according to the kinds of economic activity as to the region's natural zones has been carried out while the conceptual substantiations of border cooperation development have been outlined. The strategic orientations of optimistic, moderate and pessimistic scenarios of the region's economic development according to the indices of the region's gross product have been worked out.
