Essay

The object - physiologic and biochemical influence of selenium at feeding cows in 2 last months of pregnancy and new-born calves during first 2 months of life was established and in blood, sperm production of bull-sires at feeding Selenium, Chromium and vitamin E. The aim is determine the biochemical mechanisms of feeding selenium-containing preparation "Sel-Plex" of cows and calves. Methods - biochemical (spectrographic method, chromatographic), statistics. Novelty - first studied The results of researches of feeding selenium-containing preparation "Sel-Plex" on reproductive ability and milk productivity of cows are presented. It was established that biologic and anti-stress action of preparation "Sel-Plex" caused decrease of antioxidant tension in cows' organism which showed in decrease of lipid hydroperoxides level in blood and increased activity of antioxidant enzymes. Probable changes of hemolytic indices and increase of immune and biologic reactivity level and AO system in calves' organism were marked and indicate positive influence of selenium containing preparation application.
