Research object: process of management development of building materials industry of region. Purpose: development of theoretical-methodological bases and practical recommendations on perfection of management building materials industry in the system of strategic development of economy of region. Methods: economic-statistical, graphic, econometric modelling, system, factor and cluster analysis. Novelty: the system of indicators of complex estimation of building materials industry development potential is first selected, methodical recommendations on an analysis and prognostication of development of building materials industry of region are improved.
