Essay

Subject of research: models, methods and procedures of the synthesis of fault detection test and designing easy-to-test homogeneous cellular networks with built-in means of signature monitoring and restoring to working condition. Purpose of research: developing and improving models, methods and procedures of synthesis of configurable homogenous cellular networks with built-in means of test and functional diagnostics, synthesis of tests performed on programmable logical integrated circuits. Methods of research are based on the main principles: digital automaton theory; theory of graphs; methods of engineering diagnostics. Theoretical and practical results: include the solution of a system of tasks dealing with development and design of configurable cellular automaton networks (CCAN) performed on modern programmable integrated circuits (PIC) with fault tolerance provided by built-in means of signature monitoring and restoring serviceability of homogenous networks with different dimension of cellular functional modules (FM). Scientific novelty consists in the development of models, methods and procedures of the synthesis of configurable homogenous cellular networks based on PIC, verification of their operability with the help of built-in diagnostic infrastructure of signature monitoring and restoring to working condition. For the first time methods of synthesis of fault detection tests for one-dimensional computer networks (OCN) with limited observability of output reactions have been proposed, which are based on using distinctive and characteristic symbols of network element automate model. For the first time the method of transformation of cellular automate (CA) models have been proposed and the class of easy-to-test OCN having distinctive and characteristic symbols for each CA state have been determined. Degree of implementation: Institute of Scintillation materials of Ukraine's Academy of Science (Kharkov). Field of application: for technical upgrade of multiprocessor computerized systems for controlling РОСТ-4 unit.
