Turetska K. Personal identity of people prone to Internet addiction.

The dissertation deals with personal identity prone to Internet addiction people. The model of Internet addiction, including the level of the basic prerequisites, necessary conditions and sufficient conditions was developed. The definition of personal identity and the virtual self-presentation was given. The signs of identity confusion and pathological forms of virtual activity were compared. The basic dimensions of personal identity (Self-conception, interpersonal relationships, values and activities) and diagnostic criteria and indicators of identity confusion to each dimension were developed. Established that people prone to Internet addiction are characterized by signs of identity confusion. Established that a characteristic feature of those prone to Internet addiction, is the creation of "compensatory" virtual self-presentation.
