Dissertation is devoted to the determination of pathomorphological changes, pathomorphosis displays and etiopathogenetical peculiarities of autoimmune thyroiditis Hahsimoto (ATH) in the Prycarpathian endemic goiter region. The recearching work is based on complex morphological (histological, immunohistological) research of thyroid gland of the 7895 patients underwent operation with thyroid pathology and 165 dead people. Macroscopic and histological variants of ATH, stages of its morphogenesis, clinical-morphological parallels are determined. Based on the questionnairing of the 128 patients with thyroid pathology additional risk factors of ATH in endemic goiter region are determined.
