Sukurova N. Foreign investment as a factor in the innovative development of regional economies

Dissertation deals with the theoretical and methodological approaches to the innovative development of the regions of Ukraine due to foreign investments. The modern situation of economic development of regions of Ukraine was analyzed that allowed to group regions by the level of their economic development, compare the results with the investment attractiveness of the regions and highlight the place of foreign direct investments in innovative development of regional economies. A model of investment and innovative development of regions was created that allows to talk about a direct positive relationship between foreign direct investment and innovative development of regions economy. A set of strategic actions and steps is suggested to implement innovative model of development in Ukraine’s regions using the tools of investment and innovation issues.
