Essay

The object of study in the thesis is to manage traction electric motors of tram in the presence of restrictions on the coupling and the processes of interaction between mechanical elements of tram electrical drive. Aim of research is to improve the reliability of tram traction electric drive by improving the system of detection and suppression of slipping and conditional monitoring of mechanical tram route. To achieve this goal the following methods of research are used: methods of automatic control theory to analyze and improve the mathematical model to detect a slipping wheel sets, the theory of finite automata for synthesis of control unit of traction electric motor in the presence of restrictions on the coupling, algebra of logic to minimize the sequential theory, probability theory and numerical methods for solving problems, fuzzy sets - for developing a mathematical model that provides a definition of the tractive resistance of rolling stock using traction; genetic algorithms - for adjustment of operation of fuzzy model, the analytic capabilities of computer algebra - for modeling dynamic processes. Scientific novelty lies in that: the first mathematical model of traffic tram cars, which unlike the known, also alter variation of character of coupling curve that allows to reproduce adequately control flow of tram electric drive when changing coupling conditions to prevent slipping in the early stages of its development; improved mathematical model of control of main tractive resistance of city tram, which unlike the known, also discounts the tractive resistance in draft mode and change the value of the normalized resistance with temperature changes, the use of which increases the reliability of control, improved method for the prevention of slipping and according to sliding speed of tram wheelsets that, unlike the others,allows to detect slipping in the early stages of its development while traction electric drive works on a stable segment of the coupling curve. The practical value lies in the development of the structural scheme and algorithm of detection of microprocessor device of detection and suppression of slipping and control of the main tractive resistance ., that allows to increase functionality and simplify the establishment of the proposed system and creating a computer model of this system in Matlab Simulink environment, which allows to establish quickly a system of transfer factors and examine the system operation in different modes. The degree of application of the dissertation are introduced at Utility enterprise "Vinnytsia Tram-trolleybus management" and the educational process of Department of electromechanical automation systems in industry and transportation of Vinnytsia National Technical University. Area (region) of use - at the enterprises of Ukraine, which operate rail electric rolling stock.
