Essay

The dissertation is devoted to computer modeling and development of calculation methods, algorithms and software for processing of the discrete data sets that represent empirical dependence, which can be used in dosimetry. The study improved the approach to computer data analysis taking into account the peculiarities of the empirical measurement processes dependency. This method enables to use well-known methods of statistical analysis. The calculation methods of empirical dependencies for the detection of peaks on the basis of representation of histohramm discrete data and determination of spikes on the basis polynomial approximation of the base curve are developed. The methodology for estimation of the error of the electron beam energy, measured in the standard wedge dosimetry method based on computer modeling of the Monte Carlo method of the measurement process is proposed. A comparative analysis of the standard techniques that are widely used to control the electron beam energy is proposed. A new calculation method for determining the electron energy is worked out. This method uses a semi empirical model of electron radiation dose to approximate a discrete set of the measurement results.
