The object of research is relaxation processes of heat conduction. The goal is the development of mathematical models of heat conduction relaxation processes taking into account the thermal memory and research of the heat solvability problems during extreme heat impacts. The methods are the approximate analytical methods of operational calculus, the theory of integro-differential equations, the theory of heat and mass transfer and thermodynamic basis of nonequilibrium processes. The results : due to mathematical modelling of relaxation processes of heat conduction the heat memory of switching apparatus and switchgearit has been considered and allowed to increase the term of equipment service.
