Essay

The thesis is devoted to studying bioecological properties of 19 species and 4 cultivars of the genus Tilia L., introduced in the Right - Bank Forest - Steppe of Ukraine. The rhythm of the development and growth, the variability of blossom and bear fruiting of research species are studied. The resistance of trees of the genus Tilia to unfavorable factors of neighbouring environment are researched. The optimal methods of the reproduction are elaborated. The ornamental qualities of the species of the genus Tilia are estimated and the greening of these plants are recommended. The success of the examined species introduction.
