Essay

The dissertation is devoted to developing a method for the synthesis of the cobalt oxide-hydroxide compounds by the electrooxidation of the Co(II) ions in aqueous fluorine-containing solutions on the insoluble anode. It has been established that hydrated cobalt oxide compound is product of electrooxidation. Size of particle is 5-10 nm. Kinetics of the electrooxidation process have been investigated. Pyhisico-chemical properties of the cobalt oxide compounds have been investigated: electro- and catalytic activity in the processes of the oxygenetion and oxygen reduction, conductivity and its components and photoelectrochemical properties. Standart-sized CR 2325 model of thin-film impulse, primary and secondary CPS has been designed.
