Essay

The thesis is devoted to studying the mechanism of ionization and passivation of silver at anodic polarization in borate-phosphate-carbonate electrolyte and its separate components. It was established, that the reason of the silver anodic passivation is formation on its surface a thin film argentum(I) oxide. The basic kinetic parameters of anodiс process allowed to describe the mechanism of silver dissolution-passivation in a borate-phosphate-carbonate electrolyte and with addition of ethylendiamine. The conditions which facilitate dissolution of silver anodes was received and offered ethylendiamine, as the activator of anodic process.
