Litvin V. The biological, ecological and technological aspects of the forest plantations of poplar in the conditions of Kyiv Polissya

Work is devoted to the study of perspective clones of poplars (Populus L.) for cultivation of them in the conditions of Kyiv Polissya. For growing in the probed terms the most perspective clones are selected according to the factors of the productivity, firmness and decorativeness. Considerable attention is given to the study of morphological, ecological and phenological properties of the probed clones of poplar and introduction of its perspective kinds. Intensity of passing of processes of photosynthesis is set, transpiration, whimsicality to fertility and humidity of soil etc. Technology of creation and growing of plantations of poplars is improved with the long and short period of rotary press, due to introduction of methods of growing and purveyance of high-quality planting material, use of superabsorbents, application of optimal schemes of placing of planting places, methods of landing, terms of cuttings etc
