Essay

The system of urban plantings in Kyiv historical part is analyzed. The present taxonomy and phytogeographical analysis of city species are determined. Biological properties of 13 species in a Kyiv conditions are studied. Detailed age analysis in various types of street planting is given. Edaphic factors influence on woody plants vitality, main phenological stages duration and morphological structure of woody plants are enlightened; entomological and phytopathological estimationis given. The street trees planning structure and main reasons of its restoration are characterized. Author's modified method of street tree species ornamentality is applied on 45 streets. The recommendations for production were elaborated and integrated approach of increasing of woody plants vitality is recommended.
