Essay

The thesis is devoted to theoretical and experimental research of damping forces component of hydrodynamic interaction in seals of hydraulic flow part of centrifugal pumps and implementation of such machines development, free from unreasonable and unnecessary rigidity reserve by special-purpose use of damping forces in groove seals that allows to dramatically decrease dynamic factor, to eliminate harmful resonant effects and requirements of natural frequencies detuning from computational-design practice. Analytical dependences for calculation of hydrodynamic forces in groove seals were specified. By means of mathematical modeling correction factors were received, which allow to expand the usable range of analytical dependences of groove seals damping coefficients. Necessity of use of throttling liquids additional volumes in groove was proved for carrying out of numerical calculations for definition of hydrodynamic forces in seals. Possibility of centrifugal pump operation was proved at coincidence natural oscillation frequency of rotor with rotation speed of electric motor shaft without high level vibration occurrence. The design procedure for dynamic parameters of centrifugal pumps rotor was developed. Thesis results were implemented in a number of specialised enterprises and applied in educational process.
