Essay

The main approaches to studies of the problem of volunteering are analyzed, its essence has been revealed and socio-psychological characteristics have been identified. The model of opening out of volunteering in local community which provides for several stages of volunteers involvement was elaborated. Due to empirical research the factors of volunteering development in local community, the structure of psychological readiness to volunteering, socio-psychological content of volunteering management were identified.
