Essay

Object: ferrite-garnet films with a point of magnetic compensation and spin reorientation, being under the influence of temperature and/or a magnetic field. The purpose: the determination of non-uniform structures features in ferrite-garnet films at phase transitions by visualization and the modeling based on experimental data, taking into account the influence of the mixed anisotropy. Methods: magneto-optical complex for carrying out of experiment devoted to an establishment of non-uniform structures features, modeling, the microscopic approach for construction of phase diagrams. Results: the influence of the mixed anisotropy (crystallographic cubic and growth uniaxial) on the features of non-uniform structures of ferrite-garnet films with different size of uniaxial anisotropy in a temperature interval 90-500К is established. The features of spin reorientation phase transitions in samples with different uniaxial anisotropy are experimentally established. On the base of the received results models of non-uniform structures (domain structures and domain boundaries) are constructed. Theoretical phase diagrams taking into account the mixed anisotropy of samples are calculated. The field of application: solid state physics, physics of thin films, magnetism
