The influence of biologically-active substances that are emitted by 81 species of plants on over-hydrated lands during their vegetation period and after its completion has been explored on the cultures, under experiment, of the pathogenic spirochaete L. interrogans of serological type Icterohaemorrhagiae. Structure and species content of plant groups in environmental objects are able to produce significant effect on the duration of survival of pathogenic Leptospira within those environmental objects
