Essay

The object – asymmetrical electric processes of multiphase pulse converters (MPC) of constant voltage by regulation with pulse-width modulation with the power channels of reducing, raising and inverting types. The subject – mathematical models, methods, methodologies and algorithms of research at symmetry and asymmetry of electric processes and power parameters single-phase and multiphase pulse converters. Research methods: the methods of the theory of electrical circuits, methods of digital modeling, separate positions of theory of optimization at development of design technique of MPC. Theoretical and practical results: the methods of analysis and research of MPC got further development at asymmetry of electric processes, based on the use as base parameters – the parameters of current of inductor and amount of inductors which unite in groups, depending on an accumulation, return and zero level of electric energy. Two mathematical models (for evenly and non-evenly displaced in time the identical electric processes of power channels) are first got for the calculation of electric processes, generalized the relatively most widespread charts of converters and modes of operation. On the basis of the got models the methods of modeling and research of electric and power characteristics of MPC are worked out, necessary software is created, by means of which the specific features of MPC are educed at asymmetry of electric processes. Methodology of the automated designing of MPC is worked out at asymmetry of electric processes on the criterion of minimum volume at providing of the set quality of output voltage.
