Essay

Object of research - the European roe deer (Capreolus capreolus L.) in the hunting grounds of Lviv region. The aim of the thesis is to identify resources of European roe deer, to determine the impact of ecoforestry and economic activity on its quantity, spread and living conditions in the hunting grounds of natural areas and enterprises in the region. Research methods - general scientific, forestry-taksatsiyni, botanical, environmental, mathematics and statistics. The novelty of the results. First for the conditions of Lviv region the dynamics of the European roe deer population and its state under the influence of hunting and environmental factors were systemically analyzed. Found that roe prefers mixed coniferous-deciduous and deciduous forests, and the structure of its population in the region does not correspond to optimal biological characteristics of the specie. A forestry-typological assessment of habitat spread was held. The features and patterns of distribution and supply of roe in different forests so as its impact on undergrowth were analyzed. The research results make it possible to include the topological characteristics of the forests in the rating of the quality of hunting grounds for roe deer, make a list of plant species for roe deer forage and order of laying them out. Practical test of these recommendations was made in Drohobych regional organization of hunters and fishers "Lisivnyk". Fully they can be used in the hunting enterprises, which activities are directed on rational use and economy, production activities are focused on the rational use and resumption of European roe deer resources. Application field: forestry and hunting
