Essay

The work is devoted to the research into substantial composition and internal structure of the Kamennomogilsky complex granite massifs in connection with their nonstandard rare-metal and rare-earth-rare-metal mineralization which is attributable to typical for A-type granitoid plutons crystallization differentiation trend: granosyenites (occasionally even quartz syenites) -> amphibole granites -> amphibole-biotite granites ->biotite granites and leukogranites ->biotite-muscovite and muscovite leukogranites with topaz and fluorite (+pegmatites). Granites of the Kamennomogilsky complex possess all typical for A-type plutons geochemical features, such as extra high iron content, preponderance of K compared with Na, increased contents of Zr, Y, Nb and rare earths. Combination of rare-metal mineralization with yttrium-earth-rare one is explained by the nature of differentiation and manifestations of late-magmatic and metasomatic processes. Granites of the Kamennomogilsky complex are the typical product of intra-plate anorogenic magmatism due to the impact of the mantle plume.
