Object of research is process of change of a technical condition of isolation of poles concerning the earth in two-wire networks of a direct current; the work purpose is reduction of an error of measurement of ohmic resistance of isolation of poles concerning the earth and optimization of the functional characteristic of means of protective switching-off by reduction of influence of capacity of a network concerning the earth and current definition through a leak place on the earth which provides the highest level of reliability, safety and efficiency of use of two-wire networks of a direct current; Theoretical results - the method of protective switching-off in a two-wire network of a direct current, for control of value of a current through shunting communication; the method of selective control of ohmic resistance of isolation in a two-wire network of a direct current by imposing of an alternating current of industrial frequency on a controllable network which provides reduction of an error of measurement is improved and automates process of search of damaged joining; тhe method of periodic control of ohmic resistance of isolation of separate poles concerning the earth in which by pressure measurement between an average point of the divider connected to a network; practical results - the circuit diagram of the device for continuous control of ohmic resistance of isolation of poles concerning the earth of distributive networks of a direct current; - the device for periodic control of ohmic resistance of isolation of poles concerning the earth which unlike the existing reduces an error of measurement of resistance of isolation; compatible application of results of continuous and periodic control allows to reduce influence of capacity of a network ; - the device of protective switching-off which unlike existing, at the set level of safety, allows to reduce quantity of erroneous operations is developed; introduction degree - results of scientific researches are introduced on "Mine
