Essay

The regularities of formation of structure and phase composition of films of alloys CoNi and FeNi are set. The influence of size effects and thermal treatment on the resistivity and TCR of the films CoNi and FeNi are studied. Obtained size dependence of the activation energy of conductivity islands films of alloy CoNi. Investigated the concentration and size dependence of the magnetoresistance and coercive force of thin-film alloys CoNi and FeNi. It is shown that in unannealed three-layer films CoNi/Cu(Ag)/FeNi, CoNi/Cu(Ag)/Co, FeNi/Cu(Ag)/Co with a thickness of nonmagnetic layer 3-15 nm is observed giant magnetoresistance.
