The analysis of the characteristics of the pulses propagation at the form of a periodic intervals of sinusoid sequence at the presence or absence of frequency modulation in planar regular waveguides and irregular waveguides with the irregularities at the form of abrupt change of the characteristic size was done, and also investigated the energy transmission coefficients of the wave depending on the geometric parameters of the waveguide, and the characteristic changes in the structure of the output pulse as it passes through a zone of irregularities. Constructing an analytical solution of problems based on the method of partial regions, the field in each of which is written as a superposition of particular solutions of the wave equation.
