Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of molecular mechanisms influencing the formation of an aggregation ability of leucocytes in cases of type 1 diabetes mellitus. It is proved that the aggregation ability of the cells studied, differs in healthy and pathological donors. It is shown that the phosphatidylinositol-3 -kinase enzyme takes part in the formation of the aggregation ability of mononuclear and polymorphonuclear leucocytes. Alteration in the interchange of p85 regulatory subunit of PI-3 -kinase content in the membrane and cytosolic fractions of leucocytes in cases of type 1 diabetes mellitus arises. These changes are correlated with changes of the aggregation activity of these cells.
