Voytovich A. Forming of Ukraine' regions mechanism of evaluation and analyses of social and economic development

The thesis contains the results of region's social and economic development main point research. Some vital questions on specific features and prospects of territorial system economic and social life management under conditions of transformational economy by facilities of economic and mathematical modeling are considered in the thesis. Based on analyses carried out of already existent approaches to the diagnostics of the level of territorial system social and economical development a set of mathematical models could be used for measuring of region's economic and social level is provided. The mechanism of evaluation and analyses of region's social and economic development, that is a set of methods, principles, algorithms and models which allow to determine a rate of regions social and economic differentiation and factors that have a dominating influence on it is provided. According to the task, models that allow to identificate a type of regional development' asymmetry based on discriminant methods and econometric models with discrete dependent variables were constructed. These models allow to identificate priority-driven spheres of regional systems life which require some governmental regulation.
