Essay

The thesis is devoted to investigation of inorganic ion-exchange materials (ion-exchangers and membranes), to study their sorption-selective, conducting, charge-selective properties for use in electro-membrane methods of treatment of dilute solutions of hexavalent chromium. Designed electromigration method for determining the mobility of adsorbed ions in ion exchangers based on input from the membrane to the overall resistance of the resin-solution-membrane.
