Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of morphogenesis for definite types of noninvasive intraductal cancer's growth of mammary gland. The material is represented by serial microslide sections for 68 cases of operative, bioptic, and autoptic material including embryos and pieces of tissues of gland and cancerous growth. The histological, histochemical, immunohistochemical, and karyometric methods of investigation have been used. The thesis bases a new theoretical foundation and decision of actual problem for morphogenesis of definite types of noninvasive form for intraductal cancer of mammary gland based on data concerning the development of mammary duct epithelium in ontogenesis. Due to complex morphological and immunohistochemical investigations it has been determined the morphogenesis of pseudopapillary type of intraductal cancer of mammary gland from multi-layer pavement nonkeratinizing epithelium of sinuses and combined ducts of mature gland, morphogenesis of papillary type from interlobular duct epithelium, krybrosive type from intralobular ducts, and solid type from terminal portion of mammary gland. It has been established that solid type of noninvasive form of intraductal cancer of mammary gland according to histochemical peculiarities is the last stage of cataplasia and has the same features as definite stages for embryogenesis of mammary duct primordium.
