Essay

Important scientific problem is solved in dissertation that consists in increasing of energy efficiency and coordinate control precision of high-voltage high-power variable-frequency asynchronous electrical drives (VFAED), created on the basis of two- or three-level VSI-PWM without the use of sensors on the motor shaft. Mathematical description and simulation model of high-voltage VFAED is developed, the methods of mode and parameter identification of high-voltage induction motor feeding from VSI-PWM are offered. An optimum energy-saving control on a minimum of power losses for VFAED with the scalar and vector regulation is offered, comparing of the indicated energy-saving control to the known laws of frequency induction motor control is executed, also the high-speed method of output currents limitation of three-phase VSI-PWM is developed.
