Essay

Goal of research – development of new and improvement of existing mathematical methods of power plant’s functioning and development efficiency indicators under market conditions, development appropriate software applications. Object of research – futures of exploitations and development of power stations under market conditions as alone enterprises and connected with each other within the energy system. Subject of research – mathematical methods for estimation of power plant’ functioning and development efficiency. Methods of research: system analysis, simultaneous modeling, stochastic and mathematical statistics, mathematical programming. First developed synthesized method of assessment of power plant’s functioning efficiency under market conditions, the model of optimization of electricity generating capacities development was improved to estimate perspective power plant development efficiency within the energy system, the new method of power plant’s mode uncertainty accounting was introduced. The appropriate software applications were developed, using it’s the perspective structure of electricity generating capacities of Ukraine was calculated. The research results were used in development of Project of Energy Strategy of Ukraine up to 2030, in the study of wind energy development within the energy system of Ukraine. The sphere of usage is technical sciences in the field of energy.
