The dissertation investigates the theoretical and methodological grounds, methodological approaches and practical guidelines on the formation and use of the competitive advantages of regional economic systems in strengthening and deepening the integration process. In-process generalized, domestic and foreign naukovo-praktichni approaches are deep and specified to forming of dominants of competitiveness of regions in the conditions of openness of economy of Ukraine. The complex estimation of basic competitive edges of regions is conducted in the conditions of growth of processes of globalization and integration. Grounded complex of measures, directed on the increase of level of competitiveness of the regional economic systems on the basis of increase of efficiency of the use present.
