Rybak V. The ecological audit of drained agricultural lands.

On the basis of the systems approach in ecology the thesis substantiates the necessity of solving the topical scientific and practical task related to developing the technique and algorithm of the ecological audit aimed at assessing the ecological safety of using drained agricultural lands. With respect to the theoretical, natural and analytical investigations conducted the author determines the criteria of the ecological state of safety and further use of land, water and biological resources. Using the data of the agrochemical certification of soil, long-term cartographic research with the use of GIS-technologies the author determines the discrepancy between groundwater levels, soil moisture and quality of lands and optimal indices. The thesis specifies the methodical approach to calculating losses resulting from worsening grade of drained agricultural lands. The areas of land to be excluded from agricultural use are determined, the recommendations to the production related to the formation of sustainable nature use on drained agricultural lands with respect to the principles of the organic production are developed.
