Essay

The Thesis is devoted to investigation of the genus Artemisia L. in the Flora of Ukraine. 30 species from 6 sections and 3 subgenera are revealed by critical systematic revision. Comparative-morphologic investigation of the taxa Artemisia genus was carried out, diagnostic features are analysed. The Keys for determination of the species are made. Results of geographical analysis and botanical-geographical analysis are reported. A distribution of Artemisia species has been carried out to the ecological and coenotic, to the ecological and to the biomorphologic groups. 25 species belong to synanthropic complex of the genus, 11 of them are alien.
