Khryk V. Anti-erosion properties of pine stands on the revine-gally systems of the central part of Dnieper Right-Bank Forest-Steppe

The thesis is devoted to the researches of anti-erosion properties of pine stands planted on revine-gally systems in the central part of Dnipper Right-Bank Forest-Steppy. The productivity and growth of pine stands on eroded lands in dependance of the way of main soil cultivation, schemes of mixture, slope exposition and soil destrruction have been researched. The influence of anti-erosion pine stands on formation of forest site in particular: accumulation of forest litter, changes of density and permeability of soil have been found out. The forest indices of pine stands, anti-erosion properties of root systems, their fixation ability in soil erosion control and their role in activisation of soil formation processes have been determined. The natural renovation of Scotch pine at the eroded lands in the fresh pine sites has been estimated. The monitoring of anti-erosion stands on eroded lands for determination of sanitary state and the reasons of their reduction has been intoduced. The recommendations for inproving productivity, health of pine stands and liqidation of centers of root fungi have been developed.
