Parasyuk I. Strategic planning of the development of subregional structures based on the basis of the mobilization of the competitive advantages of a region (by the example of the Odessa subregion)

The object is processes of formation of economic development planning, aimed at increasing competitiveness of subregional structures. The aim is the development of theoretical and methodic basis of strategic planning of subregional structures economic development. The methods are analytic, logical, economic & statistical, strategic analysis, SWOT-analysis, graphic description, "Pattern"-method, sociological methods. Theoretical and practical results - theoretical and methodical positions and recommendations for the strategic planning of subregional structures development, strategies of economic development of Odessa, Teplodar, Yuzhne, Odessa subregion till 2020. Novelty - the methodic approach to strategic planning of subregional development, which is based on the principles of horizontal planning in the conditions of realization of paradigm of regional self-development, due to endogenous sources and factors of territory growth, has been worked out; the definition "administrative agglomeration" was introduced. Level of application - Odessa Region State Administration, Odessa Region Council, Teplodar Region Council, Yuzne Region Council, Ivano-Frankivsk National Oil & Gas University. Areas of usage are regional economy, higher school.
