Object of study: the development border territories through increased cross-sector partnerships. Objective: To improve the theoretical and methodological principles and the development of guidelines enhance cross-sector partnerships to improve the competitiveness border territories and living standards. Methods: systematic, strategic analysis, expert assessment, taxonomy, structural-functional, graphical and map. Novelty: the first is justified essence the concept of "cross-sector partnership", perfected terminological apparatus to identify the concepts of "border territory", "development of border territories", the main approaches to building partnerships by bringing together a group approach to the development border territories, given the "partnership". Scope of use: activities of the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction of Ukraine, Main Department of Economics of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, in the learning process of Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.
