In this paper it is decided the actual scientific problem of the method improvement for the determination of the induction motor electromagnetic parameters with acquired defects or damages on the basis of instantaneous power components for equivalent circuits. The choice of that circuits is based on the analysis of the currents, voltages and its harmonic composition. In this work the methods for determining the electromagnetic parameters of the induction motors are analyzed, the requirements for parameters determination are grounded. The possibility of determining the electromagnetic parameters of induction motors with acquired electromagnetic asymmetry or damages is shown by separate equivalent circuits. The dependences of the change of the induction motors electromagnetic parameters from voltage and current harmonics levels and instantaneous power components are obtained. The expressions for the harmonic components of the instantaneous power are determined for the equivalent circuit elements of the induction motors taking into account their nonlinearity. The determination of the induction motors electromagnetic parameters is done by solving identification equations on the basis of instantaneous power components. The formulation of which is carried out separately by constant, single- and different frequency components. The algorithms and software for determination of the induction motors electromagnetic parameters using full equations of instantaneous power are developed.
