Essay

The dissertation is devoted to theoretical research of the non-stationary and internal dynamics of topological solitons, and conditions of formation and propagation of bound soliton complexes and breather excitations in nonlinear systems with the strong dispersion and complicated microstructure. It is shown that solitons-kinks in such systems have the internal structure, their internal mode spectrum is exactly found, mechanisms of soliton complex formation and their stabilization are established, conditions of the breather appearance are determined as well as its contribution to the negative permeability of metamaterials.
