The object is functional role of mammals. The aim is to set the role of mammalian in forming processes of proceeding in biological activity of soil. The methods are the adsorption-field methodology. In dissertation work the set role of functional role of mammals, namely excretory activity of mammals comes forward as an important ecological factor which influences on the ground processes. The special value their activity has for geobiocenosiss in the conditions of the anthropogenic loading. It is well-proven in dissertation work that functional role activity of mammals has an of long duration positive influence on such index of biological activity as ground "breathing" in the conditions of natural geobiocenosiss and areas of dumps of mining industry. Also environment formative activity of mammals promotes activity of the ground enzymes (urease, invertase, protease) and content of humus in soils of dumps of iron ore industry. Application spheres are proceeding in biological activity of soils, training courses.
