Essay

The object is gasdynamic processes, which are realized at transonic turbulent flow around aerodynamic airfoils. The investigation's purpose is studying of steady and unsteady transonic turbulent flow regimes around airfoils, which is based on the numerical solution of the viscous gasdynamic's equations, as well as study of heat and mass transfer influence on self-sustained shock oscillations. The method is a numerical simulation on the base of Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes equations. The multiparameter analysis was performed and a "graph model" of the transonic turbulent flow regimes around airfoils was composed. The effect of the airfoil surface temperature and of the boundary layer suction on self-sustained shock oscillations is disclosed and analyzed. Scope - the learning process, the development of numerical methods, design and construction work.
