Soima S. Foreign economic activity of the region in terms of market transformation

The thesis deals with grounding of theoretical and pragmatic approaches as to distinguishing the functions of the region's foreign economic relations. The peculiarities of international economic cooperation of the border region with neighboring countries have been studied. The foreign trade relations of the region at the present stage have been analyzed, the role and place of cross border cooperation in the system of foreign economic activity have been determined. Practical recommendations as to improving the headlines of intensification of foreign economic activity and foreign economic cooperation have been worked out as well as the ways of further increase of regions competitiveness have been suggested.
