Essay

Thesis is devoted to development of non-parametric criteria which are directed for solving estimation problems and testing of hypothesis of equivalence of two and more universal sets as well as construction methods of diagnostics of benign and malignant tumours of breast cancer which are based on proposed methods. New non-parametric criteria, which are based on averaging p-statistics was suggested. Computer diagnostics build upon statistical theory of pattern recognition using confidence interval.
