Essay

The object of research is the electrochemical etching process of foil current feedthrough; the subject of research is methods and systems of the electrochemical etching process monitoring; the purpose is improving the quality and competitiveness of the arc mercury lamps by creating automated monitoring system of manufacturing process of foil current feedthrough by the electrochemical etching method; the methods are theoretical analysis and synthesis , mathematical and statistical, the novelty; for the first time the managing of electrochemical etching process is not rigidly set by the program as in the existing systems, but it is configured in accordance with the conditions of its passage in order to maintain a constant etching speed, which allowed to reduce the surface roughness of current feedthrough during their manufacturing ; the results are the developed method of determining the rate of etching allows to conduct the measurements during the technological process with the relative error of 3%. The automated system is implemented on the technological equipment of LLC "the Factory of high-intensity discharge lamps" in Poltava, which allowed to improve the quality and competitiveness of mercury arc lamps; the field is electrical engineering.
