Essay

The thesis deals with the electronic properties of carbon nanotubes and its nanocomposite with polytetraftoretylenum (PTFE) and relationship of the electronic structure of defects in them and the electrical conductivity. By positron spectroscopy and electronic paramagnetic resonance one- and multilayered carbon nanotubes (CNT), different by deficiency of graphen layers and there packing at formation multilayered CNT were investigated. It is established that the growth of free electrons number, giving the contribution to EPR signal strength, increases by 1-2 order. It is established that EPR and PS methods can be used at certification of CNT types and identification of defects in them. Concentration dependence of PTFE-CNT nanocomposite conductivity with non-linear character and percolation point at 3.5 wt.% CNT concentration was established. Local electronic structure of defects of PTFE-CNT nanocomposite in wide concentration CNT range and effect of deformation on its electrical properties have been studied systematically.
