Razumikhina N. The Establishment of National State in Turkey from Muslim Empire to Secular State (1918 - 1925)

In the thesis a comprehensive analysis of process of establishment national state in Turkey is made. The significance of Mudros truce and reasons for beginning of national liberation movement are also analyzed and the main stages of approval National Vow and the opening of The Great National Assembly is clarified. The main points Sevr's Peace Treaty signing, which affected further development of Turkish national liberation movement and Greek-Turkish military conflict are emphasized in the work. The whole number of treaties of alliance signed in this period is characterized in the dissertation. The structure of diplomatic relations among Turkey, Entente's States and Soviet Russia are analyzed and the significance of Ankara's agreement is revealed in the context of foreign affairs.
