The thesis covers the study of the psychological content of social and psychological adaptation communicative strategies of an unemployed. The theoretical analysis of the unemployment problem, social and psychological individual's adaptation to joblessness, the impact of the personal and communicative factors on the process of such adaptation were investigated. The methodology was grounded and the tools of the empirical research were developed.
