Essay

Thesis is devoted to the theoretical investigation of the Ostwald's ripening (OR) in alloys and semiconductor heterosystems with quantum dots under diffusion-Wagner mechanism of mass transfer. Nanoclasters growth rates depending on mechanisms a mass transfer are computed. Temporal dependences of change of their average sizes are established. The particle size distribution is computed for the suggested growth mechanisms. Computed distributions are compared with the experimental histograms.
